7th Annual Beginning Teacher Conference

Beginning Teacher Boot Camp

Coming this summer, INTC will offer a two day boot camp for new graduates moving into their first year of teaching. The event will take place June 30 and July 1, 2016 in Champaign. More information appears here.

INTC Partner Event

The Illinois Sustainable Technology Center (ISTC) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign along with Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant (IISG) are hosting a workshop for teachers on Pharmaceutical and Personal Care Products (PPCPs) in the Environment. The workshop is designed to introduce the issue of PPCPs in the aquatic environment into the classroom. Up to 8 professional development hours will be available through the University of Illinois.

When: June 16, 2016, 8 AM to 5 PM
Where: Illinois Sustainable Technology Center (ISTC), 1 E. Hazelwood Drive, Champaign, IL 61820
Cost: FREE with lunch provided, plus a $150 stipend!
Who: Illinois and Indiana middle and high school and preservice science teachers
