Activity or Strategy Description:
Introduce the rock cycle in a visual/kinesthetic way. Create a foldable (I did a five-fold for each stage). Students label the stage on the top flap and draw a picture to represent that stage then write a description of that stage on the inside. Once all were finished, we cut them up and placed them in the correct spot in the cycle.
Foldables are great to use in any content area and are good for visual/kinesthetic learners.
