Activity or Strategy Description:
This game is based off of the the popular cup stacking game. Use this game to review vocabulary words, sight words, math facts, state capitals - any type of info you want your students to be able to recite instantaneously. For example, you could use multiplication facts. WRite a math fact on the bottom of a Dixie cup. When the students looks at the fact, they must say the fact before stacking the cup on their tower. The goal is to create a tower as quickly a possible. Students can race themselves or each other. This strategy can be used to memorize sight words or foreign language vocabulary. Adapt and use any way you like! The Pringles cans are good for storing the cups when they are not in use.
