Activity or Strategy Description: 
Day 1: After introducing, modeling, and offering guided practice of a new concept, I often times gave a quick pre-assessment to my class about the topic just covered. Day 2: I then used that pre-assessment to place my students into leveled learning groups. I could then reteach/review or offer enrichment to meet my students' needs.
