stickers, sticker chart/check chart (one per student desk)
Preparation: 
Class discussions on what behaviors would students like to see changed--rewards for sticker goals and consequences to be in place for checks
Activity Length: 
40minutes
Activity or Strategy Description: 
Students will have sticker/check chart on their desks. When students are behaving (when others may not be) or when students go above and beyond, give students a sticker. Students will receive a reward for 5, 10, 15 and 20 stickers reached. If students are not following directions, causing problems., etc, students will receive a check using dry erase markers. The first check is a warning and consequences (decided on by the class) are given for 2nd, 3rd and 4th check. Students automatically receive a check for talking back.
