Activity or Strategy Description:
This can be a 2-3 day activity. Hand out tax packets with information on different taxes. Get students into groups. The groups pick a representative to be their presidential candidate and a tax to run on as their platform. They create a poster. On the final day they do presentations about the candidate and platform. They vote on who is the best candidate.
