Mary Francis

Mary’s educational experience includes teaching high school English; serving as a Board of Education member; a High School Assistant Principal in charge of Curriculum, Testing and Student Services; an ROE consultant working with schools not making AYP, and the Program Director for the Lee/Ogle Induction Program for 5 years. Since 2006 she has also conducted over 40 ICE 21 Mentor and Administrator Trainings for ROEs in Northern Illinois. Mary believes that great teachers are always looking for more effective strategies to help students achieve, and she uses feedback from her workshop participants—beginning teachers, mentors, program directors, and administrators—to strengthen her trainings and to help districts improve their induction programs.
