Nancy Johnson, Ed.M.

Nancy Johnson has extensive institutional knowledge and experience with Illinois schools, INTC, its partners, and the University of Illinois. Since 2000, she has been at the College of Education, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. With INTC, since it was founded in 2004, her principal areas of INTC work are co-planning three annual conferences and other meetings, co-editing and managing communications, and engaging and collaborating with INTC partners. Also she has been the University Supervisor of secondary student teachers in English, foreign languages, mathematics, science, and social studies starting in 1998. Her public school experience includes over 30 years in the secondary Spanish classroom, Department Chair in English and Languages and Fine Arts, and long running cooperating teacher for Spanish student teachers.
