Summary Mindset and research into how the brain learns is as applicable to our teachers as it is to our students. Resilience and perseverance in the face of adversity, learning from failure and using neuroscience to affect motivation and potential for success are skills for the teacher in the classroom as well as for the mentor working with the novice teacher. This session will explore the growth mindset and offer practical strategies for rethinking our orientation to learning that can ultimately enhance teacher performance and student achievement.
