Fall 2010 Regional Professional Workshops

The Illinois New Teacher Collaborative invites you to register for its Regional Professional Development Workshop. A downloadable flier of the event is available here.

Description:
Differentiated instruction (DI) provides recommended practices that match instruction to individual student needs, talents, and readiness. Teachers using DI create assignments and plan lessons that help every student learn.

This workshop is designed for new teachers to learn more about differentiation; to understand how DI can help with common challenges such as classroom management and student engagement; and to plan their own lessons and strategies to help every student achieve.
