Activity or Strategy Description:
Have a discussion with the class about expectations for a specific activity, and from these will come "I can" statements of expectations to be met. Then create a chart with an evaluation scale where expectation is vertical, days of the week horizontal. Students then self-monitor, evaluating expected behaviors. Each day students evaluate what they did well. At the end of the week a goal is written for the following week. This is then put as a grade amount if decided by the teacher.
