Administrator's Academy (1028): Using the Illinois Induction Program Continuum

This Administrator’s Academy will introduce the participants to the Illinois Induction Program Standards and its companion document that describes program development across multiple levels. The Illinois Induction Program Continuum (IIPC) was crafted to be utilized as a document that will prompt both thinking and action around the professional needs of teachers in the state. The document is to be used as a formative assessment tool as opposed to a summative assessment tool. The IIPC is just the tool you are looking for to promote induction program development through an ongoing cycle of continuous improvement. Administrators are encouraged to attend this academy with a team of 3-5 district stakeholders. CPDUs are also available.
