During our first online book study meeting to discuss Thompson's Discipline Survival Guide for the Secondary Teacher, we were struck by this quote (p. 2): "Although too many of us blame our students, their families, the school board, or even society for the discipline problems we encounter, the ultimate responsibility for creating a productive classroom environment is ours."
What does this mean to you? Do you find some or all of this statement worthy of debate?
schools
